Saint Leo Catholic Youth Ministry - A Light to the Youth of Winston-Salem

St. Leo’s has a rich tradition of vibrant ministry to Youth. It all started when a group of parishioners realized the need for a strong ministry for the youth of the parish and of Winston-Salem. As the parish has grown in numbers and in physical size so has this vision for ministry.

St. Leo’s proudly uses the Life Teen Model for ministry to high school and middle school youth. We are very blessed to have a beautiful Teen Center that is furnished with plenty of activities for teens and a wonderful space for our Life and Edge Nights.

We are committed to providing an environment where young people are welcomed, loved and given an opportunity to come closer to Christ while building Christ-centered relationships.

There are three main facets to our ministry -

- Life Teen Mass - 5pm every Sunday from Late August to Early June (Check the parish bulletin for the Mass Schedule.

- Life Teen – (High School) This is centered around our “Life Nights” which take place every other Sunday from 6 – 8pm. See the Life Teen page for an up to date schedule. In addition to our Sunday program are weekly activities, trips, and retreats.

- The Edge - (Middle School) This is centered around our “Edge Nights” which take place every other Sunday from 6 – 8pm. See the Edge page for an up to date schedule. In addition to our Sunday program are monthly activities, service projects, and retreats.
